May 15, Weekend at Lost River State Park May 15-17

Dreaming of escaping from the "hustle and bustle" of the daily grind? CAC has just what you are looking for! Beginning Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17 we will be heading off to a weekend in the country at Lost River State Park in Matthias, West Virginia.

The cost is $130 for members and $140 for non-members. Space is limited so don't wait.

For more information, please

This "get-away" weekend has been a special event for CACers for nearly 20 years. It is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with old friends and a chance to make new ones!

Lost River is a beautiful, serene, and restful nature setting about three-hours distance from Washington DC where you can leave behind the cares and troubles of your everyday life for a few days of rest, relaxation and socializing…

We will stay in well equipped, yet rustic cabins at the Park. All of the cabins feature a natural stone, wood burning fireplace; bathrooms with showers; and fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, cooking utensils, and tableware. Towels, dishcloths, blankets, and bed linens are also provided.

It's a great time, with plenty to do (hiking, volleyball, board games, etc)…or not…your choice…and when Sunday arrives, most invariably wish they could spend another day or two at Lost River.
