January 15, Dancing at Blobs Park in Jessup, Maryland

Join fellow CACers for a fun-filled evening of Polka dancing on Saturday, January 15 starting at 7 p.m. at Blobís Park, an authentic Bavarian Biergarten at 8024 Max Blobís Park Road in Jessup, Maryland.

Come at 7 p.m. if youíd like to get dinneróeither authentic home-cooked German fare, or more ĎAmericaní food like a hamburger. If youíre really hungry, doors open at 6:30 p.m. Blobís also has more than 70 brands of beer. From 8 p.m. till midnight, get set for dancing to the music of the five-person TKO Band. According to their website at www.tkoband.net, TKO Band has something for everyone.† They play swing, country, rock, jazz, Latin or ballroom tunes, a wide variety of music spanning every era from the Ď40s to the present. This sounds a little more varied than the usual music at Blobís, but we suspect TKO will play a lot of polkas and waltzes, and perhaps even the chicken dance. RSVPs are appreciated so we will know how many tables to reserve for CAC. Admission is $10 per person, with food and drink extra. Conversation and fun are free.

To RSVP or for more information, please
