Hey Everyone! End the summer with another CAC Picnic from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 11 at Lake Accotink Park on 7500 Accotink Park Road in Springfield, Virginia.
Bring a healthy appetite and your sneakers for walks around the lake, frisbee, bocce ball and croquet! The cost is only $15, or $12 if paid in advance. (See contact below for information about paying in advance).
All food and drink will be provided. We will have a beautiful lake view from the reserved small shelter next to the marina.
RSVPs are required by by Friday, September 10 so that the proper amount of food can be prepared.

Directions: To get to the Park's main parking lot.
1. Take the Beltway (Route 495) to Exit 54 for Braddock Road (VA-620)
2. Go EAST on BRADDOCK RD 1.9 miles
3. Turn Right on BACKLICK RD(VA-617) and go 1.3 miles
4. Backlick continues one-way as AMHERST AVE (VA-617 S) - go 0.2 miles
5. Turn Right on HIGHLAND ST and go 0.7 miles
6. Bear Right onto ACCOTINK PARK Road and proceed 0.4 miles along a small industrial park.
7. Turn Left to continue on ACCOTINK PARK Road - go 0.7 miles
Walk 5 minutes on the Sidewalk along the road, to the Picnic Area.
We have the Small Shelter next to the Lake which is the first structure you encounter.. Look for CAC signs
