October 22, Rosary and Dinner in Derwood, Maryland

Join CACers to pray the Rosary on Friday, October 22 at 7:15 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church on 6701 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood, Maryland, home of our CAC chaplain, Father Beaubien. Join us for a short time of prayer for the needs of the world, our families and friends, and ourselves. We will meet in the church.

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful.

Have you never been to a CAC Rosary before? Don't worry... If you come straight from work, and forget your Rosary, we have some you can borrow.  We also have Rosary "aids" with all the prayers (or, print your own at http://www.newadvent.org/images/Rosary.pdf). And, if traffic makes you a little late, that's ok. Don't let that stop you from joining us! After the Rosary, we will go to dinner at the nearby Outta-the-Way Café at 17503 Redland Road in Rockville.

Please RSVP if you can, by Thursday morning, October 21, for the dinner, so we can give the restaurant a count. Also, if we know you are coming, we will look for you at the church.
